Visa Crypto Labs has unveiled a groundbreaking command line interface (CLI) tool designed to enable AI agents to autonomously execute blockchain transactions without human intervention. This innovation marks a significant step toward integrating AI with decentralized finance infrastructure.

The tool allows developers building on large language models to create AI agents capable of managing self-custody wallets loaded with stablecoins like USDC or other digital assets. These agents can independently pay for API keys, cloud computing resources, or datasets—streamlining workflows by eliminating manual approval bottlenecks.

Leveraging account abstraction and smart contracts, the system establishes programmable wallet rules directly on-chain. Visa's move reflects a strategic push to bridge traditional payment systems with emerging blockchain technologies, particularly in institutional-grade financial automation.
